Mrs. W. A. Wittbecker was born January 5, 1865, at St. Louis, Mo. Her maiden name was Marian Cole. She was married in 1885 to E. E. Fisher and has one daughter, Mary Isabel. Some years later Mrs. Fisher was married to W. A. Wittbecker. Mrs. Wittbecker is active in literary, sociological, civic and political affairs. She has served on executive bodies of the Women’s Welfare League. Housewives League, Dames of the Round Table and is an honorary member of the Riverview Women’s Club. She is an active member of League of Women Voters, League of Protestant Women and Eastern Star. Throughout the war [ WWI ] Mrs. Wittbecker gave her services to the conservation of food program in classes, clubs, lectures, and writing. As an authority on marketing and dairying she was appointed on the committee that drew up the present milk ordinance for St. Paul. She is active in the Fourth District, Minnesota Federation of Women’s clubs and a member of the speakers’ bureau. She always has been a leader in activities relating to women in politics and civic questions pertaining to home and child welfare, a pioneer suffragist and worker for pure food laws. Mrs. Wittbecker is an ardent supporter of forest conservation. Under the name of Marian Cole Fisher she is nationally known as a writer and speaker. 1916 Marian Cole Fisher along with Miss Pansy Bowen prepared the wedding cake for President Wilson’s marriage to Edith Bolling Galt, second marriage for both.

1920 Lived in Ramsey, Minnesota.
