Schloss Crockery Co., wide mouth canning jars 1899-1925

Wide mouth canning jars — not Ball jars, not Mason jars…. although Mason jars were becoming a generic name. The investigation began with this beautiful cooking booklet, Golden State Mason Jar. The back cover shows jars by Ben Schloss of San Francisco. His company, Schloss Crockery Co. operated between 1899 and 1925. The glass jars on the back cover say “Other patents pending” This link says those are on later jars–but later than what? 1910? https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/antique-bottle-golden-state-mason-jar-292386590 Patent was received in 1910 — so the booklet advertising the Schloss canning jar was created between 1911 and 1925. Now, the style and clothes from the front cover? Based on a quick search and research fatigue, I’m going with the late-teens 1914-1918.
