Looking at houses for sale, I found this Down East home that had not been renovated. The camp didn’t overall interest us, but I was delighted to notice the wood-burning Atlantic cook stove, made in Portland, Maine circa 1920 with the attached hot-water heater. Fewer and fewer, but old country kitchens still exist in rural areas throughout every State.
